Introduction:
Glycerol, termed as glycerin in the National Standard and characterized by colorless, odorless, sweet, and clear viscous liquid appearance, is an organic matter, which commonly known as glycerin.
It can absorb moisture in the air and absorb hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen cyanide and sulfur dioxide. Moreover, it is hardly soluble in benzene, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, carbon disulfide, petroleum ether and oils. Glycerol is the backbone component of the triglyceride molecule, with relative density 1.26362, melting point 17.8°C, boiling point 290.0°C (decomposition), refractive index 1.4746, flash point (open cup) 176°C, and acute toxicity: LD50:31500 mg / kg (rat oral).
Application: Employed in medicine, food sweeteners, military, paper making, mechanical processing, paint, daily chemical, petrochemical, tobacco and other industries.
Packing: Galvanized iron drum with plastic liner or plastic drum, net: 250 kg/drum.
